Do you need your Delaware Contractor's License?

Cotractors are required to obtain a Delaware contractor license.
The construction, alteration or repair of any structure requires a state contractor license. Licensing of contractors, other than electrical and asbestos abatement, is for revenue purposes only.

Contractors are required to register in order to bid on Departement of transportaton contractors.

Licenses are issued or renewed for a 1 year period, expiring on December 31st.

The contractor does not need to take an exam in order to obtain the license.
